Terms and Conditions

1. General Terms

These Terms govern the use of FreedivingFlow services provided by Aleksei Barulin (OSVČ, Czech Republic). By booking a course or purchasing a certificate, you agree to these terms.

2. Booking and Payment

• A booking is confirmed upon receipt of payment.
• For some courses, partial prepayment (deposit) is available. The remaining amount is paid on site.
• For AIDA certification courses, the prepayment (including any deposit when the course is sold in instalments) also covers access to course materials and the online course area on this site. Once that access has been granted, the prepayment is non-refundable — see section 3.1.1.
• Prices are in euros (EUR) unless otherwise specified.

3. Cancellation Policy

For each course, trip, or online product, the exact full and partial refund deadlines are shown on that product’s page, repeated at checkout, and reflected in your confirmation email. If they differ from the general outline below, the rules on the product page take precedence.

3.1 Regular Courses

The table below is a general guide for in-person courses. Where a product has stricter rules (for example AIDA prepayments in section 3.1.1), those rules take precedence for the relevant portion of the price.

3.1.1 AIDA certification courses

The prepayment for an AIDA course (including the first payment when the course is sold with a deposit below 100%) reserves a spot, enables access to official programme materials and to the FreedivingFlow online course area (progress, exam, etc.), and registers the booking for that specific course run. Once access to materials and the online course area has been granted, that prepayment is not refunded — even if you cancel within a window where section 3.1 would allow a refund for other services. Any remaining balance (when the course is not fully prepaid) may still follow the cancellation window shown on the course page and section 3.1, unless clearly stated otherwise at booking.

3.2 Dive Trips

3.2.1 DeepSpot Trips (Poland)

The trip price includes participation in the programme (organisation, video, workshops, training with the instructor) and Deep Spot pool entries. Pool entries are booked and paid by the organiser at Deep Spot under their rules; if you cancel, no refund is made for pool entries already paid by the organiser.

• More than 14 days before the trip: full refund minus the pool-entry portion (1,500 CZK per session in your chosen option), or full refund if the pool has not yet been paid by the organiser.
• 14 days or less before the trip: refund of the programme portion only (3,500 CZK fixed + 500 CZK per paid training session); the pool-entry portion is non-refundable.
• Less than 7 days before the trip: no refund (or only at the organiser’s discretion).

If the trip cannot take place due to the venue (Deep Spot) or force majeure, the organiser will offer alternative dates or a full refund in line with Deep Spot’s rules. Deep Spot offers a flexible cancellation/reschedule option when booking («Elastyczna rezerwacja», approx. 29 PLN per entry): one free date change for the entry up to 1 hour before start. Details and how to add this option — ask the organiser.

3.2.2 Freediving Camps (international trips)

The coaching fee for an international freediving camp (e.g. Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt) is non-refundable from the moment of booking, as the organiser commits in advance to accommodation, logistics, and team travel costs.

• The coaching fee is non-refundable under any circumstances other than force majeure (section 5).
• The booking may be transferred to another participant with at least 14 days' notice before the trip start (section 3.5).
• Accommodation, flights, and other items listed as "not included" are arranged and paid by the participant directly; refund terms for those are governed by the respective service providers.

3.3 Online Courses

Online courses are non-refundable once access to materials is granted.

3.4 Rescheduling

Instead of cancellation, you may reschedule to another date (subject to availability) at no extra charge, with at least 48 hours notice.

3.5 Transfer

You may transfer your booking to another person by notifying us at least 24 hours before the course start.

4. Gift Certificates

• Certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Certificates are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Certificates are transferable to another person.

5. Force Majeure

In case of force majeure (natural disasters, border closures, serious illness), we will offer rescheduling or a full refund.

6. Liability

Participants are responsible for their health and must inform the instructor of any medical contraindications. FreedivingFlow is not liable for injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions.

7. Insurance

We recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance for dive trips. This will protect you in case of unforeseen circumstances.

8. Personal Data & Retention

How we process personal data, cookies, subprocessors, and retention periods (including at least 7 years for signed waivers with the health declaration and archived theory tests, and how the student area behaves when a past course run is removed from the schedule) is described in the Privacy Policy on this site. By booking or using the student area, you confirm you have reviewed it.

9. Dry Training Pro (subscription)

Dry Training Pro is a 12-week in-app dry breath-hold program in the student area (250 Kč/month via Stripe, or invite access during closed beta). Safety rules, subscription terms, liability limits, and optional vitals (pulse, SpO₂) are described on a dedicated page: Dry Training — safety & subscription.

Before your first session you confirm the safety rules and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. EU/EEA consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the distance contract (details on the Dry Training page). The program does not replace in-person instruction or medical advice; breath-hold training is at your own risk.
