About Me

Aleksei Barulin

Freediving Instructor & Founder of Freediving Flow

Aleksei Barulin

The original idea for the school was "Freediving For Fun." It reflected everything I wanted to create—a space where freediving would be about joy, discovery, and meaningful experiences.

Since the name was already in use, I decided to evolve the concept into something even deeper—Freediving Flow. The idea came to life during a conversation about how freediving had lost its soulful essence in pursuit of competition.

My Philosophy

At Freediving Flow, freediving is not just a sport—it's a way to escape the fast-paced city life, discover your inner self, and connect with the world in a meaningful way.

Our mission is to create a space where freediving and coaching come together as tools for profound self-discovery and growth. Here, you'll find a community that values both technical skills and personal development.

My Approach

Through coaching tools, I help you understand yourself better, listen to your body, and work through your fears. The skills you develop underwater—staying calm under pressure, trusting yourself, managing stress—will serve you far beyond freediving, in everyday life.

Where I Train

🌊DeepSpot, Poland — deepest pool in Europe (45m)
🌊Dahab, Egypt — Blue Hole & Red Sea
🌊Maldives — tropical freediving expeditions
🌊Prague — regular pool sessions
